We are now accepting Gifted and Talented Nominations for the 2015-2016 school year. Nominations are for students who are not currently in the GT Program. We ask that you do not complete a nomination form if your child is currently in the program. We will continue accepting nominations until the end of the school year and again in the new school year until the end of September 2015. Students will be tested in the new school year. On April 29, 2015 four students attended the Society of Women Engineers Awards Banquet for the Houston Area: Juliana Judge, Sarah Nguyen and Leila Akhavan who received a certificate of Merit & Achievement and guest Gema Garcia. Keynote speaker: Bonnie J. Dunbar (Ph.D., NAE, RSECorr). Dr. Dunbar is the M.D. Anderson Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the UofH, serving as the Director of the "UH STEM Center" and Director of the Aerospace Engineering Graduate Program and SICSA Space Architecture Programs. She was a NASA astronaut, flying 5 Space Shuttle flights, logging more than 50 days in space.
Harmony School of Discovery is pleased to share the first AP & CRLP Camp pictures at CYJ. In these amazing three days, AP students were given extra resources and intensively prepared with skills and strategies to have better scores on their AP Exams in May.

Here at Harmony, going to college is something to celebrate and we do it in style! We hold College Acceptance Day Pep Rallies that are both celebratory for seniors and encouraging to the younger students. We dare you to watch this video of last year's pep rally in Houston and NOT get a tear in your eye! The most inspirational event of the entire year at Harmony Public Schools! College Acceptance Day is a very big deal here. This event is for our Houston Area schools, so it's just the tip of the Texas-sized iceberg.
